The Microfinance Centre (MFC) presents the #DigLit Bootcamp which aims at building strong foundation for digital transformation processes in MFIs by targeting core skills, knowledge and capabilities related to digitalisation among MFI staff and management.

Digital Literacy Bootcamp for MFI’s is since 2020 a structured programme, which aims at providing you with understanding of core competences needed in the digital disruption era. 305 participants from 58 institutions and 21 countries have enrolled to #DigLitBootcamp – and will receive certification under the condition to take part in a certain number of webinars.

The webinars take place each week on Tuesday at 11:00 CET.

About this week webinar “Build an optimal scoring system based on your legacy data”, 18/02/2020

Peter Hauser, Business and Finance Consulting:  During the webinar, the participants will learn why and how they can use their current and past client information for assessing new loan requests. We will explain the process of statistical regression which can be used to analyze available client’s data to build an optimized scoring system allowing further to increase speed of loan assessment and improve overall quality of portfolio. We will detail what resources and capacities are required from the institution to develop and sustain the loan scoring over time.
