Member Press Release
To cap off its 15th anniversary year, the Fondation de Luxembourg is proud to announce the launch of a new website (www.fdlux.lu) which highlights the diversity and vibrancy of Philanthropy made in Luxembourg.
Conceived in collaboration with Luxembourg web agency, Bunker Palace, and with input from local graphic design agency Vidale Gloesener, the new website offers an entirely updated visual experience and a simplified way to discover the initiatives and impact of the Fondation de Luxembourg, including the many foundations under its aegis and the projects they support, worldwide.
The website launch marks a pivotal step in Fondation de Luxembourg’s mission to promote and facilitate philanthropic engagement for individuals and companies. Designed with accessibility, inspiration and transparency in mind, the new platform provides a plethora of information for users interested in setting up their own foundation.
The redesign of the website shines a new light on the various projects supported across the five themes of action: Poverty Reduction, Universal Education, Health & Research, Culture & Diversity and Biodiversity and Climate Change. A foundation directory lets users browse and discover the personal stories behind over 100 foundations and their missions. Spacious layouts and vibrant images bring the foundations and projects to life.
Director General Tonika Hirdman reflected,
“With the launch of our new website, we are proud to be able to offer a more illustrative insight into our work and the activities of the foundations under our aegis. We hope that future philanthropists, beneficiary organizations, and the public alike will take the time to rediscover what the Fondation de Luxembourg is all about in this new format.”
The Fondation de Luxembourg will be rolling out the website in English and German versions in later stages, with only the French version currently available.
