Jürgen Hammer, Head of Investment Unit at Grameen Crédit Agricole, will attend the Harvard Business School Accion programme 2017 “Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance” thanks to InFiNe.lu scholarship programme.
After an international investment banks experience, Jürgen Hammer joined the field of microfinance in 2006 with the personal objective of using his experience in financial markets to benefit the excluded and poor people in the developing world and helped develop microfinance funds. He played a leading role in setting up and launching the Grameen Credit Agricole Microfinance Foundation where he is the Head of Investment Unit.
Jürgen is also the Chair of the Social Performance Task Force (SPTF).
He holds an MBA in International Business from City University of New York, as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Université de Paris-Dauphine.
