LHoFT and ADB Launch Second Edition of Catapult Southeast Asia Program

The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have announced the second edition of Catapult: Inclusion Southeast Asia, a flagship acceleration program aimed at advancing financial inclusion across the ASEAN region. The program will commence at the 5th Asia Finance Forum in Manila this April, followed by activities in Luxembourg in June 2025.

Building on the success of its first edition, the program will select fifteen promising fintech startups from Southeast Asia that are developing innovative solutions for financial accessibility. Selected participants will benefit from workshops, networking opportunities, and mentoring sessions with industry experts from the financial services, microfinance, and fintech sectors.

The program welcomes applications from fintech startups operating in various sectors including AgriTech, InsurTech, Digital Payments, Microfinance, Green Finance, and RegTech. Eligible companies must be based in or active within ASEAN countries and demonstrate a commitment to serving underserved and unbanked populations.

“Catapult: Financial Inclusion Southeast Asia has demonstrated the power of fintech to bridge markets and foster sustainable growth,” says Nasir Zubairi, LHoFT CEO. “This program underscores Luxembourg’s commitment to being a pivotal hub for global financial innovation and inclusion.”
