The object of the Foundation Grameen Crédit Agricole is to participate in the fight against global poverty, by the development and encouragement of micro-credit initiatives and social business projects and by the provision of financial and technical support for microfinance institutions in developing or emerging countries.
The Foundation achieve its object, either directly or through subsidiaries incorporated in the form of companies, investment funds or any other organization under its control.

Véronique Faujour has been Secretary General of Crédit Agricole S.A. since January 2020. She is a member of the Executive Committee of Crédit Agricole S.A. She has also been Managing Director of the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation since November 2022.
She joined the Corn Product Company France group in September 1986 as Assistant Product Manager for the Gerber infant food range. She joined Bayard Presse in July 1988 as Product Manager for Bayard Presse Jeune, then Sales Director, and finally as Marketing Director for the Senior division – responsible for development and distribution. From July 2000 to May 2005, she joined the La Vie/Le Monde group as publisher of the magazine Top Famille, within the subsidiary Publifa, then from April 2004, as Manager of Fleurus Presse, the youth press subsidiary of the La Vie/Le Monde group. In June 2005, Véronique Faujour joined the Marie-Claire group as a magazine publisher before joining Uni-Editions in April 2008 as Deputy Managing Director. She became Managing Director in January 2010. Véronique Faujour was appointed Head of Marketing and Customer Communication for the Development, Customer and Innovation Division of Crédit Agricole S.A. in November 2016.
Véronique Faujour is a graduate of ESSCA (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers).
