Microlux Reports Strong Growth in 2024, Obtains SIS Certification
InFiNe member Microlux SIS has released its 2024 activity report, highlighting significant growth and a major strategic development.
The Luxembourg microfinance institution reported a 17% increase in requests for entrepreneurial support, with 304 people seeking assistance in 2024. Of these, 176 individuals received customized coaching, and 50 microloans were granted to support business launches or expansions.
Since its founding in 2016, Microlux has reached several important milestones:
280 entrepreneurs supported with microloans in Luxembourg
1,028 individuals accompanied in their business creation projects
450 jobs created and preserved
A significant achievement in 2024 was Microlux’s obtaining of SIS (Société à Impact Sociétal) certification and the transformation of 100% of its capital into impact shares. This strategic change ensures that all profits will be reinvested in developing Microlux’s activities, reinforcing its social inclusion mission.
