Meet the Speakers

Aurélien Hollard, Partner | Investment Funds

Aurélien heads the Investment Funds practice. He is specialised in the formation of alternative investment funds (AIFs) and has significant experience in structuring funds for private equity, venture capital, private debt, real estate and infrastructure.

Aurélien assists both local and international clients in the structuring of Luxembourg AIFs, whether organised as unregulated (SV, SCSp, Sàrl), semi-regulated (RAIF) or regulated (SIF, SICAR, Part II) funds. He also advises institutional investors on their investments as well as management companies on their legal and regulatory requirements.

Aurélien also assists local and international clients in their securitisation and capital market transactions, for both debt and equity, whether exempted, publicly authorised and/or listed.
Aurélien also leads sustainable and digital campaigns within CMS and is therefore deeply involved in ESG and fund tokenisation.

He is a fully qualified lawyer admitted to the Bars of Paris and Luxembourg.

Stéphane Boutoundou, Counsel | Investment Funds

Stéphane has developed an experience working on various investment funds related matters as well as on wide range of transactional financing projects, including regulatory aspects, such as real estate financing and intra-company financing.

In these areas, he acts for a wide range of clients from investment management companies to financial institutions on all types of investment funds (UCITS, SIF, SICAR, RAIF, securitisation vehicles, etc.). His activities involve the structuring of such funds (the set-up of the corporate structure, draft of the issuing documentation and any related side-letter agreements) as well as the assistance with respect to the management of such structures (amendments of the investment policy, regulatory compliance, etc.).
Stéphane is a fully qualified lawyer admitted to the Luxembourg Bar.

Thibaut Riscatto, Senior Associate | Investment Funds

Thibaut Riscatto is a Senior Associate in CMS Luxembourg Investment Funds practice. He possesses extensive knowledge in the impact investing industry, climate and social impact projects and microfinance. Before joining CMS Luxembourg in 2024, Thibaut worked for six years in a top-tier Luxembourg law firm.

Thibaut advises domestic and international clients on the structuring of Luxembourg alternative investment vehicles and on the corporate, organisational, ongoing operational and transactional aspects of Luxembourg investment funds and management companies. He also advises on the set-up of securitisation vehicles.

Thibaut also participates in other initiatives as trainer such as International Climate Finance Accelerator (ICFA Luxembourg) and the Certificate in Law and Regulation of Inclusive Finance of the Luxembourg University.

He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2020.

Julie Pelcé, Senior Associate | Investment Funds (ESG)

Julie is a Senior Associate in CMS Luxembourg Capital Markets and Investment Funds practices as well as the CMS Luxembourg Digital Assets and ESG Team. She notably intervenes on several sustainability aspects. She has strong experience in sustainability-related disclosure regulations, such as SFDR, the Taxonomy Regulation, NFRD/CSRD.

She also has experience advising clients on financing transactions (acquisitions, restructuration, investment, insolvency procedures) including the drafting and negotiation of transaction documents.
Before joining CMS, she has worked in the Corporate & Capital Markets department of a top-tier law firm in Luxembourg.

Julie has been admitted to the Paris bar in 2019 and to the Luxembourg bar in 2020.
